Tamasteen® has been validated in three randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled clinical trials, demonstrating both fast-acting and long-term improvements in joint comfort and function [1-3]. Notably, benefits were observed in healthy adults with knee discomfort, as well as in individuals experiencing more significant joint discomfort.

Boron
Boron is a naturally occurring trace mineral shown to have a positive effect on bone strength, joint health, and mobility. It helps reduce inflammatory biomarkers and supports natural calcium metabolism — yet sadly, it is a nutrient often missing in modern diets.
Low dietary intakes of boron have been associated with an increased risk of compromised joint health conditions and vice versa. [1,2] More specifically, areas of the world where intakes are less than 1mg/day, they have higher incidences of joint discomfort; yet in areas where typical boron intakes range from 3-10mg/day, the incidence of joint discomfort is less than
10%.

Interestingly, the Mediterranean region has the richest boron deposits in the world with water boron content reaching 8mg/l in Tuscany and 13mg/l in Cyprus. Vitamins D3 and K2 as MK-7
Vitamin D3 is the essential sunshine vitamin that enhances calcium absorption and supports bone health, immune strength, and mood regulation. It works in tandem and in some cases even synergistically with Vitamin K2 to protect/promote heart health and reduce inflammation, promoting vitality through and beyond menopause.
Vitamin K2 (MK-7)
There are many different forms of vitamin K including even different forms of K1 and K2 with K2, and more specifically vitamin K2 as MK-7, which is t most bioavailable form of Vitamin K; and it is this form that works so well with Vitamin D3 which increases the absorption of calcium, while MK-7 helps direct this absorbed calcium into your bones (where we want it to go to make stronger bones), and not get stuck in our arteries (where we do not want it to go) Because of this, D3 + K2 strengthen bones, by either maintaining and possibly increasing bone mineral density (BMD) while at the same time, helps protect heart health, as well as the rest of the cardiovascular system, all of which are important to women approaching or experiencing menopause as well as those who are postmenopausal.
Vitamins D3 and K2 as MK-7: Vitamin D3 has been clinically studied for decades and has now become common practice in traditional medicine.
Observational studies have shown that populations who consume more Vitamin K2 as MK-7 have stronger bones[1,2] and better heart health.[3,4] But Vitamin K2 as MK-7 was truly recognized for its importance in
supporting bone and heart health after two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled intervention trials with healthy post-menopausal women were published. Healthy post-menopausal women ingested either 180mcg of K2 as MK-7 daily for 3 years or a placebo, and bone and heart measurements were taken, demonstrating:
• Significantly improved circulation was shown by reversing 12 years of arterial aging, while those ingesting the placebo had arteries that continued to age.[5]
• Significantly decreased bone loss in post-menopausal women was seen compared to those women ingesting a placebo.[6]
Yet there is also research showing that D3 and K2 work together, including a recent meta-analysis that focused on bone quality, which concluded that the combination of vitamin K and D can significantly increase
total bone mineral density. [7]
